With more than 30 years in business, Designer Rugs know what makes a really great rug. They’ve built their reputation for creating premium rugs by collaborating with some of Australia’s best artists and designers, and now they’ve teamed up with one of our favourite local creatives: Rachel Castle!
Her Sydney-based brand CASTLE has been brightening up homes since 2008 with their colourful ranges of bed linen, artworks, and clothing. So it’s no surprise the Designer Rugs x CASTLE collection embodies the same playful aesthetic that we’ve come to know and love, channelling Rachel’s exclusive artwork to create six hand-tufted rugs made from all wool.
‘We wanted our rugs to be instantly recognisable, but equally soft enough colour and pattern wise to compliment a room rather than overwhelm it,’ Rachel says of the designs.
Jumble Garden is a ‘really bold floral floor statement’ that doubles as a piece of art (for your feet!) while the Squiggle is a playful tribute to all of Rachel’s signature shapes, featuring dogs alongside flowers, spots, and hearts. And while the Squiggle was created for people who want a more subtle option, Skippy’s Garden is a cute, circular explosion of colour!
