Seed Heritage have been known for their classic wardrobe staples since the Australian brand launched in 2000. So, when the brand expanded into homewares earlier this year with a debut collection, it lived up to its reputation, with a new range of simple but sophisticated tableware, bedding, and soft furnishings.
Now as the seasons change, Seed’s SS22 Home range has launched to help breathe new life into our spaces for the warmer months ahead. They’ve collaborated with interior stylist Steve Cordony for their latest homewares campaign, styling these everyday pieces in this beautiful (and award-winning!) Bondi home, designed by Andrew Burges Architects.
Inspired by the blend of industrial and coastal textures of the property, Steve described the setting as beachy, with a contemporary twist. ‘The overall palette is neutral, but materials including recycled brick, concrete, rattan, linen, steel, glass, and timber make it feel warm and enveloping, perfect for the new season homewares,’ he says.
In the kitchen, Steve paired Seed’s earthy toned ceramics with the textured glass carafe and accompanying tumblers to create a lush tablescape. The range’s olive napkins and the Robert Gordon ceramics form a classic table setting, enhanced by pops of greenery in a playful floral arrangement.
Steve suggests grouping some of the collections’ everyday items to elevate your kitchen and living room. ‘Stacks of dinnerware, a chopping board leaning against the splashback, or tumblers neatly stacked in kitchen niches’ offers practicality, with a stylist’s eye, he adds.
Another one of Steve’s top tips for refreshing your home this spring is to mix and match your bedlinen. ‘I have my eyes firmly on the chunky knit throw, which is perfect for the change of season to re-style my bed, along with the natural flax coloured bedlinen set,’ he says.
