Bobby Clark’s art has appeared everywhere from The Guggenheim (when selected by Solange Knowles for a special exhibition) to the pages of her new book, and now you can take it into the bathroom thanks to LEIF’s Limited Edition Gift Sets!
The botanical beauty brand has teamed up with the Scottish-born, Melbourne-based artist to design the special gift packaging showcasing a festive exploration of shape and colour.
Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, Bobby’s works are simplistic, with hidden depth and emotions. ‘My aesthetic is minimal. It may seem like just a shape but there is much more below the surface that the viewer has to find themselves,’ she says.
‘My process is methodical and repetitive — I need that to have the freedom to work. I don’t plan my works. I have a vision or an idea and I let my intuition carry the process of building the compositions, palette and feel of the painting.’
The result is a stunning balance of expressive shapes layered with gold foil embellishments on LEIF’s limited edition sets —the perfect gifting option for the upcoming festive season.
LEIF’s collaboration with Bobby Clark continues the brand’s background in design, and alignment with Australian artists such as Evi O and Hannah Carrick.
The label was founded by product designers Jonnie Vigar and Brenan Liston, starting with the design of the fine-necked bottle the brand is known for today. ‘It sounds back to front, but formulas were developed to deliver on the promise that had already taken shape,’ says Jonnie.
LEIF products present a scent story that heroes Australian flora in clean, vegan, and cruelty-free formulations free of sulphates and parabens.
