Laundry Gallery is one of Darwin’s coolest destinations to see contemporary Indigenous art. Melbourne artist Libby Haines original still-life paintings are hard to come by. She sells two works a week via Instagram to an instant influx of comments hoping be the winning buyer.  We fell in love with the creative eye of artist Jordy van den Nieuwendijk ever since we featured his charming Fitzroy rental last year. Jordy is a Dutch artist now living in Melbourne, known for his commercial illustrations for big names like Apple, Jacquemus, and Rimowa. His distinctive playful style also carries over to his squiggly, sketchy, and colourful art prints!

Bobby Clark 

Scottish-born, Melbourne-based artist Bobby Clark’s work is minimalistic, abstract, and intriguing. She’s mostly known for her meticulous paintings and prints featuring balanced and geometric shapes, but she’s recently worked with her husband and fellow artist Steven John Clark (founder of DenHolm) on a new series that layers her signature style in neon graffiti and drips of spray paint — including her current favourite, dubbed ‘Molly’.

 Aboriginal-owned art and lifestyle brand Miimi & Jiinda is run by mother-daughter team Melissa Greenwood and Lauren Jarrett.
