Curated Spaces

No list of vintage furniture sellers and shops would be complete without a mention of Curated Spaces. Pip Newell started the store on Instagram back in 2017, and it’s since become one of Australia’s most popular online platforms for vintage furniture and homewares, selling items from a brilliant network of sellers and on consignment.

There’s a constant stream of new stock to browse and recent gems include an amazing Missoni sofa in the brand’s signature stripes, alongside a glamorous vintage marble table that could be from Gatsby’s mansion!

CCSS

CCSS is our go-to for vintage European pieces like the iconic Togo couches and mid-century lighting, sourcing most of their covetable stock from Italy, France, Sweden and Denmark. The store has also recently set up a new showroom in Abbotsford, giving vintage fans the chance to see special pieces IRL.

And they’ve been saving up some special finds for the store’s opening, including luxuriously soft velvet Saporiti Confidential sofa from the 70s, and a completely restored set of 4 Giotto Stoppino Dining Chairs in Cognac Leather.

Saucd

Saucd originally started in Brisbane in 2019, as an answer to a gap in the market they saw for sustainable, fun and affordable pieces for the home.

Now they have a Sydney base too, selling their one-of-a-kind goods that can be ‘insanely expensive to buy new’ like couches, dining tables and striking chairs. They also have some ‘exciting new homewares’ on the way in the new year in line with the current eclectic maximalism trend!
