If (like us) you fell in love with Troye Sivan’s style when he revealed his eclectic Melbourne home, you’ll be excited to hear the singer and actor has just launched line of luxury homewares and fragrances, TSU LANGE YOR (pronounced tsoo-lang-yor).
The debut collection from the brand features candles, perfumes, and a range of objects designed to elevate your home; there’s a tooth-shaped oil burner that’s reminiscent of a gold relic; and sultry unisex fragrances, including ‘Pool’ — a summery scent inspired by Fitzroy pools — and ‘TLY 5755’, which features Tasmanian pepper and notes of musk.
Troye co-founded the brand with his brother Steele Mellet, and together they worked with perfumer Craig Andrade from The Raconteur, who helped turned his vision into reality. Troye says the resulting products are a personal homage to his roots in Australia, while his Jewish heritage is also reflected in the brand’s Yiddish name, which means ‘to long years’. And it’s all proudly Australian-made.
‘I had been reflecting on a lot while travelling and living overseas; to me, what makes a home? Expression, art, heritage, friends, objects, family, light, scent. This initial collection is a direct reflection of all of that,’ he notes.
‘It’s all about taking a second to treat yourself, slow down, and be present in your space that you love.’
The pieces aren’t set to launch online until later in August, but you can be one of the first in the world to get your hands on the products at a special preview pop-up in Fitzroy, which is open from today!
Troye worked with Flack Studio — who also designed his internet-famous Carlton home — to curate the cosy space. It showcases art from his own collection, alongside chic furnishings from Castorina, Halcyon Lake and plants by Florian Wild.
Visit the TSU LANGE YOR at AT THE ABOVE from August 18 until August 24.
